OptimX Welcomes Paul Squires as Strategic Advisor

OptimX Markets, a pioneer in advanced liquidity management, today announced that Paul Squires has joined the firm as a Strategic Advisor to EMEA Markets.

Paul brings decades of buy-side experience, having held senior trading leadership roles including Head of Trading EMEA at Invesco and Global Head of Trading at AXA Investment Managers. Throughout his career, he has been at the forefront of trading strategy, execution workflows, and market structure, with deep expertise navigating complex liquidity environments across asset classes.

In his role as advisor, Paul will support OptimX’s continued growth and strategic development, with a particular focus on the firm’s expansion in EMEA. His experience across global markets and deep understanding of end-to-end trading workflows will help guide OptimX’s efforts to deliver technology aligned with the evolving needs of institutional investors. Paul will work closely with Michelle Butler, Head of EMEA Client Services and Sales.
