As founder of OptimX, David has launched three prior block trading networks and an online retail trading system during his 25+ years’ experience in electronic trading. Starting at Merrill Lynch, where he helped launch their first online trading platform and most recently, building the US business for the BlockCross ATS, David has spent an entire career building products and businesses around new trading technologies.
Chief Technology Officer
Pat has over 20 years building and supporting mission-critical equity trading systems. Formerly the Director of Equity Trading Systems at Piper Sandler, Pat has delivered several low-latency, high-throughput trading systems as well as an ATS.
Head of Product
Craig has 30 years of experience in senior roles in US equities, predominantly focused on US agency electronic trading. In prior roles at ConvergEx and Liquidnet, Craig designed and managed EMS, ATS, SOR, and algorithmic products as well as published numerous reports and articles on US market structure.
Head of Operations
Jeff has 20 years of operational experience in commission management, research, and electronic trading. In his prior role, Jeff built a highly successful commission management & operations group at BlockCross ATS.

Peter has 20+ years’ experience in electronic equities, specifically block ATS execution. As the former head of Liquidity Strategy & Wholesale Trading at Liquidnet, Peter has developed deep relationships across the sell side, exchanges, and the fin tech trading community.
Executive Director of Client Services
Pat brings 20+ years of experience in the institutional equity trading space with a strong background in electronic trading and trading technologies designed for asset managers. Pat has worked in various customer-facing roles with Liquidnet, BlockCross ATS, Bloomberg and most recently, SS&C Eze.
Managing Director, Product Evangelist
Nanette has 30 years of experience in senior buyside and sellside roles in U.S. Equities including Head of Equity Trading at Voya Investment Management (16 years) and as a Senior Portfolio Manager at J.P. Morgan Asset Management subsequent to that (8 years). Prior to OptimX, Nanette served as Co-Head of Institutional Sales and Market Structure at Stuart Frankel & Co.
Head of Institutional Sales EMEA
Michelle has over 25 years of valuable experience collaborating with the buyside and delivering technology solutions and innovation to the liquidity space. During her 19-year tenure at Virtu & ITG, she was instrumental in the success of POSIT Alert in the region and prior to that was Head of sales & coverage at E-Crossnet, one of Europe’s first peer to peer crossing networks.
Head of European Operations
JP has over 20 years of capital markets experience including supervisory and business analysis roles with Liquidnet, NYFIX International, Pershing, SWX Swiss Exchange, London Stock Exchange, and Nasdaq Europe. JP was the chief architect of UBS’ UK-regulated MTF which was at one point the single largest dark MTF in Europe.
Senior Advisor
John brings with him over two decades of equity market expertise, including his most recent role as Head of Americas Electronic Trading and Global Co-Head of Product, Research and Development at Goldman Sachs. Prior to Goldman, John was Head of Americas Electronic Trading & Program Trading at Cowen and has held execution roles at ATM, UBS, Robertson Stephens, and Deutsche Bank. John recently launched Leap Minds, his own strategic advisory firm focused on helping global markets and fintech companies achieve new heights.
Advisor to Canadian Markets
With over 30+ years in equities sales and trading, Peter brings a deep knowledge of and extensive experience in the Canadian marketplace. Formerly the Head of TMX DRK Trading for the TMX Group, the CEO and Head of Canada for Liquidnet and Managing Director at Instinet Canada, Peter is currently advising early-state ventures and businesses in fintech, marketplaces, trading, regulations, and business development.
